I am an LGBTQ+ Refugee Claimant or Newcomer IN Canada

If you are an LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, or Queer)  refugee claimant or newcomer to Canada, we welcome you to our community.  Through our regular programs and events, we aim to foster a community where you can feel safe, supported, empowered, and share your ideas while learning from others with similar experiences.

If you are interested in learning more, the first step is to attend one of our orientation sessions, at which we register you as an MCC Toronto LGBTQ+ Refugee Program participant. You can sign-up by clicking on the link below. You will then also receive information on joining our other programs.

Please visit our Calendar of Events below to see all of our programs, which are designed to offer help and support through the refugee claim process and for newcomers to Canada.

Letters of Support

MCC Toronto is happy to provide letters of support to registered program participants for use at refugee hearings.
